Happy Tooth Fairies

Have you seen our Happy Tooth Fairy’s floating around town recently ?

Throughout Dental Health Week our Fairy’s visited the local preschools, day care centres and primary schools showering their knowledge of the importance of looking after your teeth.

If you want the Fairy’s to visit your school why not give us a call to book them in.

Brush teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.

Clean between your teeth daily using floss or interdental brushes.

Eat a healthy, balanced diet and limit added sugar intake.

Visit the dentist regularly for check-ups and preventive care

The Happy Tooth Muswellbrook’s preferred provider status will now be with the following funds:

• Westfund

• HCF

• CBHS

All other Health funds will be accepted here at The Happy Tooth Muswellbrook and depending on your level of cover is to what benefits your fund will pay back.

The Happy Tooth goes to the Show

The team enjoyed two days out recently enjoying the fresh outdoors at The Upper Hunter Show.

We all had a great time handing out oral health goodie bags and cuddling the cute and cuddly animals at the petting zoo that was next door to us.

We can’t wait till next year!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

The aim of BCAM is to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on thousands of Australians each day.

Every year over 21000 people in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer.

Here at The Happy tooth Muswellbrook we will be showing our support by turning the surgery pink for the month of October.

Katrina and Laura enjoyed a lovely afternoon mingling with the community and other exhibitors last Thursday at the disability expo put on by Muswellbrook High School Official

Last week we supported our local Upper Hunter Show by providing out local community with oral health products while enjoying the petting zoo.

Congratulations Laura and Jasmine

Congratulations to Laura who completed her certificate 4 in Dental assisting including Dental radiography and Jasmine who completed her certificate 3 in Dental assisting.

Make sure you keep an eye out for Laura and Jasmine next time your in the surgery to congratulate them.

You never know Laura could be the one taking your Dental X-Rays.

Jasmine will soon start her certificate 4 in Dental Assisting including radiography and start training in taking Dental X-Rays.

The Happy Tooth Goes To Nepal

In April The Happy Tooth sent two teams over to Nepal, to volunteer their time providing Dental Treatment in The Kopan Monastery.

Laura and Sam along with Dr Ana, Quinn and Emily from The Happy Tooth Scone have had an amazing experience treating the monks and children over in the Kopan Monastery.

A big thank you to everyone in our amazing community who donated and helped their dream become a reality.
